In the dashboard under Events: when you create a new event, “From a poster or flyer” is right at the top.

Drag in a photo, PDF or screenshot, or pick one. On your phone, you take the photo right there.

Usually in under a minute. You can leave the page, the preview waits for you.

Check the preview
Dates, venue, tickets and line-up are all there. Anything the AI isn't sure about, like a missing time, is flagged.

Tick the boxes and confirm. Then add what's still missing, like the capacity, and publish.
02What the AI reads
Everything that's on the poster.
The year isn't on the poster. We picked the next matching date.
Dates and times
Start, doors and end, multiple dates too. If the year is missing, the AI takes the next matching day and tells you so in the preview.
Venue with address
Name and address exactly as they appear on the poster. If the venue is already in your workspace, it's linked, otherwise it's created.
Tickets and prices
Presale, door, concession: every price becomes a ticket type. We work out the amount from the quote ourselves, and TickySmart takes the tax rate from your settings.

Line-up
Bands, DJs, actors or speakers go into the line-up. The AI leaves out the organizer, the venue and sponsors, even if their logo is big on the poster.
Whole programs
If a monthly program is on the flyer, the AI reads up to 30 events at once. You tick the ones you want. Anything already over is left out.
Cover image, age limit, category
We suggest a photo of the poster as your cover image, “18+” becomes the age limit, and the AI recognizes the category, like concert or party. You can change all of it afterwards.
03Proof, not guesses
If it's not on the poster, it doesn't go in.
The AI is there to read, not to guess. That's why TickySmart checks every detail against the text of the poster.
- Transcribe first. The AI starts by writing out all the text on the poster. Details come only from that, never from general knowledge.
- No quote, no detail. For every title, date, price and name, the AI cites the passage. If it's not in the transcript, the detail is dropped.
- We do the math. Prices come from the number in the quote, not from whatever the AI outputs.
- Gaps stay gaps. If a time is missing, the field stays empty, and the preview tells you what to fill in.
- Posters don't give orders. Whatever is on the poster is content to the AI, never an instruction.

Ticket money goes straight to you.
Buyers pay through your own Stripe, Mollie or PayPal account. If a ticket costs €20 plus a €1 booking fee, €21 lands with you, minus your payment provider’s fee.
Our fee is a fixed amount.
No share of the price: a ticket for €8 costs you exactly as much with us as one for €80. We bill separately from your ticket money.
The more credits you buy, the cheaper they get.
The price depends on how many you buy at once, from €0.25 for 100 credits down to €0.18 from 25,000. Unused credits stay for your next event.

Questions about events from posters
What does it cost?
Nothing. TickySmart reads events from posters on every plan, even if you haven't bought credits yet. Fees only apply once you sell tickets.
Which files work?
Photos as JPG, PNG or WebP and PDFs up to 15 MB. A screenshot works too, say of an Instagram post. On your phone, you take the photo right while uploading.
What if the AI reads something wrong?
You see everything in the preview before anything is created. Anything uncertain, like a missing year or time, is flagged. Afterwards you edit the drafts like any other event, and nothing is published on its own.
Does a flyer with lots of dates work?
Yes. The AI reads up to 30 events from one poster or program. In the preview you choose which ones to bring over. Dates that are already over are left out.
What happens to my poster?
We read the file and delete it afterwards. For a photo, we suggest the poster as your cover image, which you can swap anytime.
Can I send the poster in the chat?
Yes, on paid plans. Attach it in the chat assistant and say what you'd like. It shows you the events it found and creates them as drafts once you say OK.
